Automation that's wired into the systems you actually run.

ERP, CRM, WhatsApp, telephony, banking back-ends — we build AI assistants and workflows that work inside your day-to-day operations and bring in orders, enquiries and closed deals. From Hamburg, since 2015. With n8n since 2021.

Not a chatbot builder. The work is in the integration.

    n8n workflow automation

    Sven Janssen

Founder and Managing Director, Digital Boss · Hamburg

I founded Digital Boss in 2015. In the early years we built as a subcontractor for software vendors in telecommunications and streaming: integrations with switching and billing systems, CRM, SMS platforms — systems where a mistake costs money immediately.

In 2021 we started building those integrations as n8n nodes and publishing them. That has been our craft ever since: software that sits between your systems and gets work done instead of creating it. Today AI is part of it — an assistant that answers on WhatsApp, writes orders into the ERP, or triggers checks during onboarding. Always connected, never bolted on.

We're a small team of automation engineers. I'm in every project myself.

An n8n embed with custom authentication

    for a streaming-technology vendor — n8n as a white-label component inside someone else's product.

    Workshops and architecture reviews

for an ERP vendor that uses n8n as its integration platform.

Our own company runs on it.

Eleven AI agents on Zulip handle briefings, reporting, server monitoring and calendars — built from the same parts we sell.

No partnership logo, no certificate. Just things you can click.

    What we've built

    Industry

    B2B spare-parts wholesaler, Germany

    Starting point

Workshops ordered via WhatsApp, phone and e-mail; every order was keyed into the ERP by hand.

    Built

A WhatsApp ordering assistant that understands requests, checks items against stock and creates the order directly in the ERP. Unclear cases go to a colleague — in the same chat.

    Connected to

WhatsApp Business (Cloud API), an omnichannel inbox, the wholesaler's inventory system.

    Outcome

Orders go from WhatsApp straight into the ERP. In production since 2025, continuously extended.

    Industry

Fintech, EU — payments and onboarding

    Starting point

A payment provider needed payouts, customer onboarding and compliance checks across several banking and verification systems — without people copying between them.

    Built

An automation layer in n8n with our own integrations to eight core systems: core-banking platform, payment bank (payouts, FX, mass payments), identity and document verification, business verification (KYB), fraud detection — including webhook callbacks for checks that answer asynchronously.

    Connected to

Core banking, payment bank, three KYC/KYB/AML services, document generation.

    Outcome

Payouts and onboarding checks run automatically in the banking back-end. Working together since 2023, most recently extended September 2026.

    Industry

Telecommunications and streaming — integrations for two software vendors

    Starting point

Two vendors of billing and switching software needed integrations for their own customers: network operators, ISPs, a streaming platform.

    Built

20+ n8n integrations since 2021: softswitch and telephony billing, VoIP provisioning and quality monitoring, IP-address and network management, fibre/OLT management, SMS and voice platforms, CRM, subscriber onboarding for OTT streaming. For one of the two: server setup and training until the team built its own workflows.

    Connected to

Switching and billing systems, CRM, CPaaS, network monitoring, streaming back-ends.

    Outcome

Provisioning, billing and customer onboarding run through an automation layer instead of tickets and manual work. One customer operates the platform independently today.

    Industry

ERP vendor, DACH — n8n as an integration platform

    Starting point

An enterprise ERP vendor wanted to use n8n as the integration layer for its customers and needed solid answers: tenant separation, configuration handling, upgradeability.

    Built

A workshop for the development team, a review of the adapter standards, the architecture decision on multi-tenancy (one instance per tenant instead of a fork), a working proof-of-concept for a configuration service outside n8n.

    Connected to

    ERP core, auth bridge, Postgres.

    Outcome

An architecture that survives upgrades — instead of a fork that breaks on every n8n release.

    Industry

Performance-marketing agency — AI content pipeline

    Starting point

Video ads for client campaigns were produced one by one; testing variants was too expensive.

    Built

A pipeline that turns a script and a presenter avatar into finished UGC-style videos in variants — automatically, with an approval step.

    Connected to

AI video and voice services, the agency's asset storage.

    Outcome

More ad variants per campaign, live in use.

    Industry

Digital Boss itself — the company runs on agents

    Starting point

A small team, a lot of operations: servers, clients, appointments, reporting.

    Built

Eleven specialised AI agents on Zulip — chief of staff, assistant, DevOps, accounting, strategy — with a daily briefing, a weekly KPI report, a server health check every four hours and a knowledge graph of everything we've ever decided.

    Connected to

Zulip, calendar, server monitoring, knowledge graph, WhatsApp and Telegram.

    Outcome

We don't sell anything we don't use ourselves every day.

Three steps, no risk in the first

    1

    Proof, free of charge.

We show what's possible on your own case — not on a slide deck.

    2

    Pilot, 14 days.

One well-defined case, real data, real users. The pilot is credited against the build.

    3

    Build and operate.

We build the solution and run it: hosting, monitoring, ongoing development, a monthly report. With a performance guarantee: if the agreed targets aren't met within 90 days, we refund the operating fee.

We only build what we'll operate afterwards.

The questions your legal team will ask

Data processing agreement. You get a DPA under Art. 28 GDPR before the pilot, not after.

WhatsApp, officially only. We work exclusively through Meta's WhatsApp Business Cloud API. No unofficial connections, no scraped numbers — those cost you the number.

AI identifies itself. Every assistant we build says it is one (Art. 50 EU AI Act). Handover to a human is always built in.

Operated in the EU. In your own environment if you prefer, otherwise on servers we operate in Germany.

This website sets no cookies. We measure traffic without cookies, on our own server — no Google, no Meta, no banner.
